History of MacDonald Highlands at a Glance

Prior to its development, the land that eventually became MacDonald Highlands was deemed “too rough to develop” by the City of Henderson. The visionary developers from the MacDonald family, however, saw the 3,200-acre property’s full potential: a residential community surrounded by the most captivating views of the Las Vegas Valley.

MacDonald Highlands was the first master-planned community of its kind in many regards. For one, it’s in the forefront of eco-friendly hillside residential developments in the Las Vegas Valley.
